This unique project was designed by the homeowner in conjunction with the team at Outback Pools. While the owner constructed the cabana and surrounding gardens, Outback Pools provided a simple pool design with an unexpected wow-factor. The result of this collaboration is a swimming pool perfect for family living.

The introduction of darker-toned travertine coping works superbly to complement the sandstone garden walls of this Queenslander home. The bold choice of black glass mosaic tiles in the spa creates an inviting space for the adults to retreat to, while the kids can enjoy the ample space of the pool.

Construction of the pool unearthed some challenges for the company, due to the extended coping width. Fortunately, by piering underneath, Outback Pools was able to create a solid foundation and deliver a structurally sound pool.

This pool is a year-round hero, with a Daisy pool cover and roller to prevent evaporation and trap the heat in, as well as a heat pump that runs in conjunction with the variable speed pool pump.
