A Total Concept Landscape Architects, Cabana & Pool Designers Project 2

This project was entirely designed and managed by A Total Concept Landscape Architects, Cabana & Pool Designers to ensure the best results were realised. As per the clients’ requests, the home’s interior seamlessly integrates with the outdoor space to create the perfect area for entertaining and relaxation.

Shaun Wright designed the space with a contemporary style and simple, clean lines that provide great visual appeal. Increased privacy was accomplished with a box-hedge barrier, which runs the boundary. Sandstone-patterned porcelain pavers feature in the coping, cabana and verandah for a seamless visual transition.

Hand-carved water spouts are positioned along the detailed sandstone feature wall for a relaxing effect. The feature wall also acts as a safety fence to ensure the space is family-friendly. The pool is fitted with extensive underwater benches and steps, which enable it to be enjoyed by the clients’ small children.

The pool and adjoining spa have fully tiled interiors, which provide a beautiful hue to the water. LED lights feature within the pool and throughout the lawn to illuminate the space at night. Located adjacent to the cabana and pool, an entertaining area offers the perfect space for the clients to bask in the sun, while enjoying an in-built television and floating bench seats.

The kitchen within the cabana features intricate built-in cabinetry, mirrored-glass splashbacks, Caesarstone benchtops, an undermount sink, stainless steel fridges, a dishwasher, an eight-burner barbecue and a wok burner. Designed for the clients’ love of cooking, the kitchen is well equipped for entertaining purposes, with a ceiling fan and radiant heaters for year-round comfort. Secondhand timber was used to construct both the cabana and the home’s renovation for a cohesive effect.

All electronics – including the lighting, pool heater, sound system, and irrigation –have been conveniently linked to a smart electrical switching system for ease of use.
