Freedom Pools Sydney and Central Coast Project 1

This spectacular project was built to meet the needs of a young family on the central coast. They wanted a large pool that could be used for entertaining, relaxing and exercise, while taking advantage of the beautiful sloping block.

Freedom Pools responded by constructing a 16-metre infinity-edge pool with two distinct areas. The shallow end is safe for small children and offers plenty of seating for the adults to relax, while the deep end provides a space for active play and exercise. The company installed a four cartridge filter, a three-speed pump and RC9 chlorination system to keep the water PH balanced, clean and energy-efficient year-round.

The infinity-edge was finished with travertine stackstone to complement the walkway’s travertine paving, and the interior is a mixture of light blue glass and white pebbles from New Zealand, which ensures the pool is brightly- coloured and sparkling even if it’s an overcast day.

Established in 1978, Freedom Pools is a family-owned and -operated business that prides itself on the personal touch the team brings to each project. The company builds about 90 pools in Sydney and the Central Coast each year, specialising in challenging projects.

Since its establishment, the company has been recognised with industry awards almost every year, including a gold award at the 2012 Swimming Pool and Spa Alliance Awards of Excellence.
