Nestled in a private back garden in the heart of inner-city Sydney, this serene pool and garden by Equilibrium Pools & Landscapes shines as a hidden tropical oasis for the homeowner. The pool’s gorgeous leafy landscaping takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the city and leaves you to enjoy your very own secret sanctuary in the comfort of your own home.

The initial brief was to provide a private sanctuary that could double as an entertaining space. Equilibrium Pools & Landscapes took advantage of the space to not only allow for a secluded swimming pool and landscape, but also boasts the ability of supporting a detached multi-purpose studio space that can be used as an additional entertaining area.

A custom-made Designer Beadcrete interior finish gives the pool water a deep blue crystalline sparkle, while the white ceramic waterline tiles and silver travertine coping inspire a sense of calm, allowing the homeowner to melt into a luxurious tropical escape. The surrounding spotted gum decking further enhances the design’s feel of a private jungle oasis; the entire cohesive design feels secluded, but in reality, is just a stone’s throw from the city.
