This luxurious resort-style pool in suburban Sydney harmonises functional entertainment with a lavish backyard escape. At an expansive 27m², this fully tiled swimming pool is a sanctuary that flows seamlessly with the surrounding area. The sandstone dry stack retaining wall and travertine pool coping add a natural beauty that integrates the space with the house, this colour palette complements the brick used on the home’s exterior and the warm tones of the spotted gum deck.

Frameless glass fencing surrounding the pool maintains the refined elegance of the contemporary design, and allows each element of the area to work together holistically. The abundance of tropical and sub-tropical landscaped gardens heightens the escapism experience and provides a cultivated aesthetic for entertaining, while the incorporation of an energy-efficient Astral Inverter electric heat pump keeps the pool functional all year round.

As the orientation and placement of this pool was drastically limited due to the Sydney Water Easement, the success of this design is a truly testament to the talent and dedication from the team at Equilibrium Pools. Carefully considering every aspect of the available space, component was cleverly worked in around this limitation, while still ensuring the space flowed cohesively and aesthetically.
