An entertaining area for the homeowners’ kids was of the highest importance in the brief given to Wahoo Pools, however, they also wanted the pool area to be accessible from the main entertaining deck and visible from the kitchen and living areas. With this in mind, Wahoo Pools managed to create a spectacular sight that can not only be appreciated when the homeowners are outdoors, but a sight that they can admire from inside their home.
To ensure the pool area connected to the existing decking, Wahoo Pools had to lift the entire pool out of the ground and position it on concrete piers so it met the height of the decking. This not only looks amazing, but has made it easy for the homeowners to entertain guests by the pool. It has also left plenty of space for their children to play where they can be clearly supervised from indoors and out. Lifting the pool also meant that plenty of yard space was left for the children around the pool.
The glass pool walls soften the look of the pool when viewed from below, and make the whole pool an eye-catching feature when seen from the entertaining decks. This look is heightened by the three sheer decent waterfalls which adjoin to a backing wall of large, sandstone coping tiles.
Aside from its outstanding look, the 7m x 3.5m pool boasts a durable, concrete Quartzon interior and solar heating with a gas boost. Using only the best additions, it also features a Pentair Water Pool and Spa filter and pump, Ionised water sanitiser and Aqua-Quip Evo 2 LED multi-change lighting.
