The pool was designed with its natural surroundings in mind, and the soothing sounds of the cascading waterfall perfectly complement the ambient bushland harmonies. A striking collection of plants, such as palms, frangipanis and birds of paradise, completes the tropical vibe of this outdoor retreat.
Natural materials including hardwood, limestone-quartz cladding, and new Zealand White pebble were used throughout the space for an elegant and timeless finish.
The clever design ensures that no space is wasted. From the outdoor shower to its myriad seating choices, the pool area begs to be explored.
Illuminated with underwater led lights and feature garden lighting, and installed with solar heating and three speed pumps, this pool earns a tick of approval for style as well as energy efficiency.
Nick mcCarthy established urban escape landscapes and Pools as a structural landscape company 20 years ago. After noticing more people looking for one company that offered both pool construction and landscaping services, mcCarthy was inspired to fill this void.
Urban escape landscapes and Pools now offers clients a holistic approach to outdoor design, providing both pool and landscaping expertise. The focus of this boutique company is on a personalised service, from design and council submission, through to project completion. servicing the metropolitan sydney area, the team builds up to ten pools each year.
A member of the swimming Pool and spa Alliance of new south Wales and the landscape Contractors Association (lnA) of nsW and ACT, urban escape landscapes and Pools has been recognised with many industry awards.
This includes winning the coveted graham ross award for best residential landscaping at the 2015 lnA awards, and a gold state award at the 2014 swimming Pool and spa Association (sPAsA) nsW Awards of excellence.
