VIRTKL Project 2
A FENCE IN BLOOM
Surrounded by lush greenery, the expansive backyard of this home is architecturally framed by the warm glow of lined sunlight.
Each area of the outdoor space is effortlessly zoned, with the panels of the fencing system casting vertical shadows across the garden elegantly guiding the eye through the space.
The client’s brief was to create a pool fence that aligned with their ‘Bush Modernism’ inspired renovation, reflecting a clean, architectural aesthetic that beautifully contrasts the flora of the space.
The fencing was designed to follow the unique shape of the pool and respond to the natural contours of the site, tracing the terrain without interrupting the visual flow of the space.
By using both radius and raker panels in the project, height made all the difference in this design, with the fence instantly refined into a bespoke and structured system.
The minimalist batten fencing posts balance the aesthetic of the backyard with everyday practicality, allowing for planting to grow through and around the fence line, softening the structure and helping it blend into the landscape over time.
