The end result is a stunning family pool, with clean, simple lines and rich, translucent glass tiles that seamlessly integrate with the home and beautifully reflect the pool and house lights at night. Packaged with the beauty of the surrounding district views, gardens and grey natural-stone paving, the final product achieves the total concept that was originally presented to the clients.

The pool features soft colours that don’t detract from the magnificent district views. Timber decking was selected for the entertaining area to provide a visually soft material that floats above the cliff edge and directs views outward.

The main entertaining area on the upper deck caters to the adult occupants and their guests, while the poolside entertaining area is used predominately by the three teenage children and their friends. While the area includes plenty of room for all of the teenage essentials – such as lounges, daybeds and a huge umbrella – it is the ideal spot for anyone to sit, chat and enjoy the sunset.

Plantings in the garden include soft, understated bands of low-growing helichrysum, pig face, dichondra repens, blechnum, senecio, convolvulus and juncus, which highlight the district views.
