REJUVENATION THROUGH DESIGN

This recent project from Scape Pools, in close collaboration with Chad Stewart at Site Design Landscapes, breathes new life into an outdated pool, transforming it into a serene, modern retreat. The integration of a spa and a refined material palette – featuring concrete, smooth tile and natural stone – delivers a clean, cohesive aesthetic that feels both fresh and timeless. Sculptural, low-maintenance planting adds depth without visual clutter, striking a balance between simplicity and sophistication.

The client’s brief was to modernise the existing pool, incorporate a spa and create a space that would suit all stages of family life. The design necessitated an open, yet intimate feel, equally suited to everyday relaxation and entertaining. Through close collaboration with trades and consultants, the team reimagined the space, overcoming challenges such as working within the existing pool structure and navigating complex engineering upgrades. Careful spatial planning created seamless transitions between zones, maximising functionality and flow. This project embodies the ability of thoughtful design to turn a dated space into a contemporary showpiece.
