THE ART OF LANDSCAPING

The design was based around the layout of the newly knockdown and rebuilt home. With such a small backyard to work with, the thought for each area was carefully considered. The backyard is divided into three different areas: the pool and spa, the lawn and the entertainment space.

The pool and spa combination, produced by Equilibrium Pools, features mosaic pools tiles and a divine water feature, creating pale blue waters and a tranquil aesthetic. Porcelain tiles were used to pave the pool area due to their slip resistant surface and provide a clean, sophisticated look. The lush lawn is framed with curved garden beds, maximising space and softening the look of the area. This coincides with the curved, sunken fire pit. Crazy paving makes up the floor of the fire pit creates a natural, harmonious look and the surrounding concrete bench seat ensures that it can be used for entertaining friends and family throughout all four seasons
