Luxe Pools Project 2

Situated right on Booker Bay, this stunning lap pool overlooks the gorgeous blue of the Brisbane Water estuary. Sitting on the hardwood deck, the lavish lap pool is a one hundred percent mineral magnesium pool, brimming with health benefits that come with it – only adding to the serenity emanating from the pool together with its picturesque views.

The client had a dead space between the boundary fence and the property that he wished to fill with a sleek lap pool, sitting at the existing deck height of house. With sleek timber decking sprawling the entire width of the space, the pool is carefully constructed to ease the transition from the house to the pool and make it seamless – while the glass pool fencing allows for a gorgeous outlook over the pool and river from the deck.

The turquoise blue of the pool’s water stands out against the warm-toned timber of the deck, creating bright, glowing surrounds that invite you into the water. It’s easy to imagine yourself slipping right in for a swim and enjoying your very own sanctuary, without having to leave your home to experience it.

Luxe Pools worked with nearly every inch of space to make the absolute most out of the available area. Although small, the lap pool succeeds in creating a sense of luxury for the homeowner, thanks to the team’s clever design and endless dedication.

Creating this project was a very unique job – the Luxe Pools team had to excavate and landscape down behind the house and had to drop and support an existing concrete deck. To tackle this task, Luxe Pools collaborated with a Guynsons and RG4 Concrete to cut out part of the existing deck and build a support for the pool.

With limited space and minimal access, the team worked tirelessly to ensure premium results. Not only this, but the water table of the estuary presented a significant challenge to the team. Luxe Pools had to ensure that time and resources were utilised down to the minute alongside rising and falling tides – and their efforts paid off, resulting in the stunning pool with its showstopping outlook.
