Diverse, earthy coloured tiles contrast beautifully with the sparkling blue hues of this pool. The client envisioned a pool with subtle blue variations and great light reflectiveness, and with a breadth of unique materials and customised products, International Ceramics was able to bring the homeowners’ ideas to life. Drawing inspiration from one of International Ceramics’ exquisite, pearl-effect mosaic blends, the clients had the opportunity to customise the colour
palette and accomplish a truly unique design.

Considering the large open spaces and balconies of the main home, International Ceramics wanted to establish a seamless appearance across all floor surfaces. Tasked with finding the perfectly sized porcelain tile to suit all transition areas and floor level variations, the same large format porcelain tiles – 10-milimetre and 20-milimetre thickness – were used to transition from internal to external areas. With this level of detailing, International Ceramics was able to present the homeowners with the exact design, qualities and characteristics required.

Through careful consideration, International Ceramics was able to ensure the perfect technical characteristics for all areas, making sure its products will endure the test of time. The interior surfaces have a smooth, natural finish for easier cleaning and masking of dirt. The pool is a rectified glass mosaic; durable in direct sunlight and resistant to any pool chemicals.
