Coastal Calm

This relaxation haven exudes the perfect fusion of modern elegance and clean coastal aesthetics. The client desired an outdoor space that struck this balance effortlessly, complementing the homes façade and setting it apart from other residential properties in the area. The main features the client wished to implement were a 5×5 metre pool, casual fire pit area, sauna, an expansive free flowing alfresco area and an inviting front landscape. With the parcel of land measuring at 450 square metres, this could only be achieved through exceptionally meticulous planning and a dedication to the client’s vision.

The project makes intelligent use of space through the positioning of the backyard’s focal point, the luxurious pool, which can be viewed from inside the home as well as from the alfresco area. Both stunning features seamlessly connect to the causal fire pit seating area, allowing distinct spaces within the landscape to flow into each other with intention and elegance. With natural stone cladding, limestone paving, floating concrete steps and the use of natural timber, this project hums with sophistication while maintaining a laidback beachside appearance
