The homeowners wanted a pool and alfresco area that would be ideal for entertaining family and friends, while suiting the needs of their growing family. The resulting opulent swimming pool in the beachside suburb of Greenhills Beach includes a pool house, which doubles as a teenager’s retreat, as well as dining and lounging areas.

The impressive 17.6m x 2m lap pool is fully tiled with vibrant sea blue Ela Vegas glass mosaic tiles, an ingenious connection to the beachside locale. Extending the full length of the backyard, this design even includes a sunken lounge with a glass viewing panel, allowing the occupants to relax while admiring the beautiful pool view, both above and below the surface.

Equipped with a Viron Connect 10 Pool Controller, providing the homeowners with smartphone control options and a Viron 450 gas heater, the pool is easily maintained ensuring year-round swimming. As the residential area is built almost entirely on sand, certain measures needed to be considered before proceeding with the pool’s construction.
