This breathtaking landscape is the latest awe-inspiring creation by Cascade & Co, designed in collaboration with Breana Graham Landscape Architecture. What sets this project apart is its unique location, featuring dual street frontages and a golf course bordering the property, offering stunning views that the clients, both avid golfers, wanted to highlight. The design also incorporates intimate, private spaces, balancing open vistas with seclusion.

The client’s brief was a designer’s dream, envisioning a space perfect for entertaining, yet relaxed enough for everyday use. One of the owners, a florist, sought a garden that celebrated the changing seasons with diverse floral displays. Despite the site’s steep incline, arched boundaries and unusual shape, Cascade & Co transformed it into a dynamic, functional outdoor retreat. To meet the brief, the design included a welcoming entrance framed by lush perennials, while the rear garden expanded the outdoor living area to feature lounge and dining zones, connected by a feature pathway. A secondary seating area, bathed in winter sunlight, offers a serene golf-view retreat. Corten steel retaining walls helped maximise space, creating terraced beds with a slim profile. The planting scheme is mainly perennial, with elegant topiary accents, ensuring year-round beauty with seasonal colour and unique plant displays.
