Aussie Undercover Project 3

Every pool needs a cover, but no one wants it sitting around cluttering up the place when it’s not in use. Aussie UnderCover have devised a solution in their range of concealed pool covers. This project in Wentworth was produced by Long Life Building, alongside the great teams at Authentic Landscaping and Superior Finish Painting. The aim was to bring the backyard to life and give it a timeless, elegant feel. The fresh, warm space was designed to flow seamlessly from one area to the next, and an unsightly, bulky pool cover would have interrupted that flow.

The Aussie UnderCover system hides the cover and its mechanism under the deck, allowing uninterrupted views clear across the different spaces of the backyard. Indicated only by a small latch in the timbers of the decking surrounding the pool, the entire under deck pool cover system is invisible to everyone enjoying the space and takes up no additional room around the pool.

With low-maintenance plants, low-maintenance astro turf, and now a low-maintenance pool, there’s nothing standing in the way of this space being enjoyed for years to come.
