Artesian Pools Project 4

Designed to optimise the location’s natural beauty, this pool area celebrates the property’s spectacular river views, with plenty of poolside seating and additional space provided for outdoor living and entertaining. The positioning of the integrated spa was also carefully considered to ensure the breathtaking views remain highly visible from all angles.

Built on a large and steep block, the pool sits on a high vantage point along the property’s edge. While this position provides exceptional views of the river, and ensures level access to the pool from the residence, it made for a tricky construction process. Due to difficult site access, all excavation was completed by hand, and the inclusion of piering, retaining walls and steps was required to achieve the desired result.

The carefully selected colour palette implemented throughout the entirety of the outdoor area subtly complements the riverside locale to perfection. The wooden steps, seating and storage blend seamlessly with the surrounding nature, while the crisp, bright stonework and contrasting Hisbalit glass mosaic interior tiles are visual points of interest, that remain harmonious with the landscape.
