Aquastone Pools & Landscapes Project 3

For this project, the homeowners approached Aquastone Pools & Landscapes for an outdoor entertaining area that would suit their home’s modern aesthetic. Designed by Gavin Bazley, the pool and spa combination is ideal for both exercise and relaxation.

Measuring 9.5m x 4.6m, the pool is fitted with three submerged LED lights that allow its beauty to be enjoyed at any time. Surrounded by warm timber decking and silver travertine paving, the pool features a complementary Gemtex interior. Dark-coloured tiling was selected for the pool’s waterline and the spa’s interior, which creates visual cohesion with the home’s contemporary design.

Positioned next to the home’s sheltered alfresco area, the 2m² spa features six jets and solar-powered heating. The stone-clad retaining wall is fitted with three stainless-steel waterfall spouts that create a calming sound effect.

By positioning the pool against the boundary fence, Aquastone Pools & Landscapes ensured the outdoor space was utilised to its fullest potential. Fitted with frameless glass fencing, the pool can be admired from within the home.
