Aegean Pools Project 1

In order to blend this pool with its picturesque surrounds, Aegean Pools positioned it to the rear of the property’s north-facing yard, where it achieves a spectacular waterfront outlook. This decision also allowed adequate room between the house and the pool to incorporate timber decking, which is perfect for lounging in the sun.

Striking black/grey glass tiles from Ezarri’s Space range were used for both the pool and spa interiors, contrasting beautifully with the limestone coping around the edges. The carefully selected timber decking provides cohesion between the outdoor area and the residence, which also features timber accents and details.

The technologically advanced spa is fully automated, and can be controlled with the push of a button either on-site, or remotely with the Pentair IntelliTouch.

Achieving such a dynamic design proved to be a challenge throughout the building process. All materials had to be transported onto the site via barge, and construction was affected by the tide, which meant unique engineering processes were required to achieve a stable bearing.
