Pinnacle Pools
The featured pool is a shining example of the exceptional work for which Pinnacle Pools is renowned. Designed in conjunction with Sitedesign Studios, the pool provides the homeowners with a relaxing and eye-catching outdoor retreat.
Excavation of the site was carried out by hand, with soil removed via conveyer belts to the front of the property.
The 15m x 3.5m pool and 2.5m x 1.5m spa were constructed using reinforced concrete and fully-tiled in shimmering Ezarri Iris tiles in ‘Azur’.
The striking feature wall at the end of the pool features a photo of a piece of art by the homeowners’ New York-based artist daughter, Anna Coroneo, which was superimposed onto the tiles. The tiles and printing were by Ezarri Tiles. A Polaris PowerFall water feature provides the finishing touch to the eye-catching art feature.
‘Silver Ash’ travertine paving surrounds the pool, with a stainless steel drain on one side. Complementing the grey travertine, the boundary wall features neutral stone rock panels, accessorised with antique lights.
The pool is heated using a Waterco heat pump and Heliocol SunX solar heating, while the spa is heated by a Pentair MasterTemp gas heater. A Daisy pool cover helps to keep the water warm while not in use and also aids the Polaris pool cleaner in keeping the pool clean. The pool and spa pumps and the sand filter are by Pentair, while the pre-filter is from Waterco and the sanitiser is by Saltmate.
Using a Pentair IntelliTouch automation system, the homeowners can use their iPad to turn on the six Spa Electrics lights, the spa Pentair MasterTemp gas heater and to check the water temperature. Even when out, the homeowners can use the system via their iPad, so the spa is heated by the time they get home.
