Aquastone Pools & Landscapes Project 5

For this project, the clients wanted a visually striking pool that would also incorporate a range of state-of-the-art functional features. The team at Aquastone Pools & Landscapes collaborated with Douglas Design and home builders Benchmark Homes to achieve a simple yet stunning result.

Featuring underwater LED lighting, several mini deck jets on each side of the pool, and six jets within the spa, the pool area is as striking by night as it is during the day. Designed to integrate seamlessly with the home, the fully tiled pool fits snugly around the corners of the structure, optimising the use of space within the backyard, and merging cohesively with the modern architecture.

In an impressive feat of construction, the pool was elevated to sit level with the second storey, which meant most of the pool’s structure was formed and suspended above the ground. This aspect of the structure further enhances its cohesion with the home. The large-scale windows that are prevalent in the home’s central living areas and the unobtrusive frameless glass fencing that surrounds the pool ensure the outdoor environment remains a permeant visual feature from multiple viewpoints.
