LUXURY WELLNESS RETREAT: A POOL WORTHY OF A HOTEL IN YOUR VERY OWN BACKYARD

This project demonstrates how a compact, carefully considered space can be transformed into a luxurious wellness retreat. Although modest in size, every square metre has been designed to maximise functionality, creating what feels like a private healing sanctuary fit for a boutique hotel.

The centrepiece is the custom, dual-temperature spa. Holding approximately 800 litres, and similar in size to a three-person prefabricated spa, it can rapidly transition from a therapeutic 40°C hot spa to an invigorating 6°C cold plunge. This unique capability allows the space to support both relaxation and modern recovery practices, making it ideal for hydrotherapy, contrast therapy and everyday wellbeing.

The location itself is perfect, enjoying uninterrupted all-day sunlight and open night skies, creating an exceptional setting for star-lit evening spa sessions. The pool and spa are seamlessly integrated with an adjoining sauna and home gym, reinforcing the resort-style wellness experience while maintaining a strong connection to the surrounding outdoor spaces.
