The first project featured here was recognised at the Master Builders Association of new south Wales (MBA nsW) 2013 excellence Awards, winning in the Traditional or geometric Concrete Pools up to $50,000 category.
Positioned to retain a large section of lawn for the homeowners’ young children, the pool is an integral asset of this Petersham property’s backyard renovation.
The pool features a vivid Aristone interior finish in ‘Brilliant Blue’, surrounded by flamed basalt tiles. An on-trend vertical garden at one end of the pool provides an eye-catching backdrop, while concealing an outdoor lavatory and equipment room. The vertical garden is complemented by bamboo screening, which provides privacy from the neighbouring property.
The second project featured here is another MBA nsW award-winning design. This pool took out the lap Pools category of the competition. The Hunters Hill property presented challenging topography, requiring an exacting design and engineering details.
Tectonic Pools’ ingenious design has taken the simple lap pool and added an adjoining sitting area with therapeutic in-floor jets. luxurious granite tiles were used on the coping and waterline, as well as on the water feature wall at one end of the pool.
After working in the pool industry for some of sydney’s leading builders for a number of years, Zac dejanovic established Tectonic Pools in 2006. His unique vision, professional approach and distinct style have led to the company growing into one of the industry’s best.
Today the company builds an average of 20 pools each year. Focusing on a smaller number of projects, the team is able to concentrate on delivering high-quality workmanship to ensure customer satisfaction.
