Constructed by Pride Pools, the featured design is a seamless addition to the backyard and creates a striking focal point that is guaranteed to improve the lifestyle of the homeowners. Located in the corner of the yard, the clever positioning of the pool makes good use of the available space, resulting in an overall balanced design.
To maximise the investment, Pride Pools went to great lengths to ensure the pool could be enjoyed day and night, any time of year. The pool’s design includes underwater lighting, which creates a magical atmosphere in the evening, while gas heating means the pool can be used in the colder months.
The simplicity of the geometric shape is complemented by a water feature. Placed at one end, the striking urn design adds to the Mediterranean feel of the space. Custom-built by Pride Pools for the client, the glass-fronted waterfall features a back light, while the urn includes a central light, so the feature adds a sculptural element to the area at night.
Glass fencing further enhances the feeling of space, providing the homeowners with an uninterrupted view of the pool area from the home. Fully-tiled bench seats along the pool steps and a central leisure and safety ledge offer a resting place ideal for relaxing with friends and family, while enjoying a dip!
The sleek design of the pool fits seamlessly with the rest of the outdoor space, while the use of quality products, such as the PC 2000 in-floor cleaning system ensures the pool fits with the homeowners’ lifestyle.
Pride Pools worked closely with architects, landscape architects and designers to make sure this pool met the homeowners’ brief and to ensure it turned out as spectacularly as it did.
