This latest project by Nordic Plunge Pools truly demonstrates how great things take time. Despite the challenges faced, the finished result is nothing short of perfection, creating a dream outdoor retreat for the homeowner. The design was brought to life with the help of Wheeler Cranes and The Little Pool Co.

What makes this project unique is its waterfront free-standing engineering, seamless decking connectivity to the GRP framework and stunning non-slip porcelain tiles. The plunge pool is equipped with adjustable stainless steel spa jets, heating and is designed for year-round enjoyment. The client’s brief was to integrate the pool into a modular house, requiring the pool to be lifted into place before the roof was craned in. This caused the team at Nordic Plunge Pools to face several challenges, including council setbacks, timing of approvals and coordinating the lifts required for the house. These were overcome, with a 55-ton all-terrain crane lifting the 6-meter play pool into position. The lightweight solution included an I9 heat pump and stainless-steel jets, with a generous beach area for easy access.

The materials used are from one of Australias leading fibreglass pool manufacturers, along with GRP framework that ensures structural integrity. To enhance the user experience, the pool is equipped with a fully integrated Wi-Fi enabled chlorination and heating system, offering seamless control and convenience for maintaining the perfect water quality and temperature.
