Since 1980, Concept Pools Australia has been renowned for quality design and construction. Given its enviable reputation, it’s no surprise that the company was approached by McDonald Jones Homes to bring the ‘wow’ factor to this display home.
McDonald Jones Homes came up with original design, which was then refined by the expert team at Concept Pools Australia, to work with the site and the house. Designed to fit into a tight corner, this striking pool features integrated garden beds, decks, pond ‘wings’ and a sheet waterfall.
The main 6m x 5m section of the concrete pool is located in a corner at the rear of the property. One of the pond wings extends between the cabana and the rear terrace, while the other runs alongside the barbecue and alfresco area. In keeping with the home’s light and modern colour palette, the pool features a sparkling Gemtex glass interior, complemented by ceramic tile coping.
Waterco products keep the pool clean and sanitised, with the selection of a ‘Hydrostorm’ pump and an ‘ElectroChlor’ salt chlorinator.
The retaining walls, garden beds, pond wings and the complementary landscape design work together to create a unified space and a seamless transition between the home and the backyard.
