A NATURAL OASIS

Full of natural charm and lush greenery, this backyard oasis is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of home life. The clients wanted to feel as though they were on holidays in their own backyard, so a lavish garden full of vibrant semi-tropical plants surrounds the house and the pool area. Bluestone stepping stones lead down to a concrete plunge pool, expertly crafted by Precast Pools.

Positioned to work with the slope of the land and minimise earthworks, the pool area is harmonised with its surroundings by using natural materials and soft tones. The decking is made from Blackbutt hardwood timber and is spacious enough to be adorned with furniture, furthering the calming and blissful purpose of the area. It is also coated with a whitewash oil to give it a light tone to compliment the house. The outer edge of the pool area also uses Blackbutt hardwood timber and copper rods for battening, while glass panels are used internally. This gives the area a rustic, natural appearance and due to organic, transparent materials, the fencing is seamlessly incorporated into the surrounding house and garden.
