Oceanscape Pools Project 2

A perfect addition to this suburban home, this 14.5m x 5.3m pool creates an alluring residential retreat. Fulfilling the client’s brief for an aesthetically pleasing and relaxing space that maximised entertaining potential, Oceanscape Pools created an all-inclusive pool for family and guests alike to enjoy.

The unique form of the pool defines the zone, perfectly mirroring the home’s exterior shape. Porcelain rebate coping complements the stained timber decking featured poolside and in the adjacent alfresco area. Bringing a cohesive feel to the outdoor area, Oceanscape Pools used the same stackstone for the water feature as the gazebo’s pillars.

Using two different tiling styles to line the pool, Oceanscape Pools created the illusion of two separate pools, making the area seem grand and sprawling. The raised spa that spills over into the pool includes 12 spa jets and internal lighting, creating a perfect place to relax at any time of day. The gorgeous water feature along the stackstone wall softly cascades into the pool below, bringing an extra level of luxury to the outdoor entertainment space.

This project required great amount of structural support including the installation of piers to ensure the pool’s stability and structural longevity. Building piers into a small lot can cause issues because of available space to reinforce the build. Oceanscape Pools circumvented these issues with their strong eye for design, construction, and attention to detail. The result is a beautiful pool that sits against the home in harmony.
