The homeowners wanted a pool that would fit in seamlessly with their beautiful hilltop property, as well as provide a place for the kids and adults to relax and play year-round. The pool was, therefore, built big enough for swimming laps, while the generous swim-step in the shallow end widens the space and creates a safe, shallow basking area.
Solar heating is provided by new-age panels installed on top of the house, with all plumbing ingeniously hidden from view. A sand filter and powerful 1.5HP pump also makes maintenance a breeze, especially as the hi-tech central controller can effortlessly adjust settings and lights directly from any smartphone.
The builder of the home worked closely with Priority Pools’ designer/builder to develop the concept of a beautifully- understated pool that would blend seamlessly with its surroundings. Priority Pools then constructed the finished product with the same quality and attention to detail that has kept the company at the forefront of the industry for years.
The pool was positioned in the north-eastern corner of the property, where it not only hides out of view from the street, but from any other property. The positioning also maximises the space and leaves a large portion of the property lusciously green. The sophisticated timber decking around the pool is another excellent addition that doubles as an entertaining area and elevates guests to a position that truly honours the vista below.
The pool’s natural stone coping works beautifully with the stunning Jewels 4 Pools glass interior, and the refined dark-timber decking creates a space that feels like a natural extension of the grand new home.
